X-men Supreme Issue #111: Divine Intervention is LIVE!

It's a brand new year for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It's a time of big change and major upheaval. It's also a brand new year for Marvel and they're going to have a lot going on with the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron and Secret Wars. It's going to be tough for X-men Supreme to measure up, but I have every intention of making this fanfiction series as exciting as can be for 2015. And it starts today on the second day of this new year.

One of the major appeals I've crafted with X-men Supreme is the use and development of characters that are either dead, in limbo, or so horribly portrayed that they might as well be dead. One of the biggest events Marvel conjured in 2014 was the death of Wolverine. By far the most popular X-men character of all time, Wolverine is one of the most important characters in the history of comics. As such, I've made him a vital part of X-men Supreme. So while characters like him, Professor Charles Xavier, and an adult Jean Grey are dead in the comics, they're alive and in a position to thrive here in X-men Supreme. Wolverine's story might be over in the comics for the time being, but it's about to take a huge turn in this fanfiction series.

Wolverine and the rest of the X-men are now hot on the trail of Toad, who led a prison break at Forth Leavenworth in X-men Supreme Issue 110: Supreme Justice. Having such a predatory nature, Wolverine is in a good position to find this renegade mutant. However, he's about to find a lot more than he bargained for. And while he and the X-men are searching for Toad, another development has emerged from the ashes of Weapon X. It's a development that will take Wolverine in a bold new direction while reintroducing a few other conflicts I began at the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. And it starts today with the first issue of X-men Supreme in 2015. I hope it's the beginning of a very productive year for Wolverine and all the X-men.

X-men Supreme Issue 111: Divine Intervention

Characters like Wolverine, who are killed off in the comics in a big event, are often a product of a desire to shake things up. I understand that from a business perspective. But for X-men Supreme, I am committed to doing more with these characters beyond just shaking up the status quo. There have been many developmings throughout this fanfiction series and they haven't involved killing major characters. I hope to continue that tradition because at this point, there aren't any Marvel comics coming out that have Wolverine playing a major role. It's a situation I never thought would happen, but it's put X-men Supreme in a position to be a special outlet for Wolverine fans until he returns. That makes feedback and reviews all the more important, especially from Wolverine fans. I'm always eager to hear from my readers in hopes of making X-men Supreme more awesome. So please, Wolverine fans and non-Wolverine fans alike, take the time to review this fanfiction series. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me directly. I'm always happy to chat. Happy New Year and until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!
